LADIES BIBLE STUDY – One In A Million Bible Study, Journey to Your Promised Land

A 7-Session Study from Priscilla Shirer

Every woman is on a journey. In looking carefully at the two Israelites (out of two million) who crossed over the Jordan and into the Promised Land, we find direction for our own spiritual lives. Expect to see God move in miraculous ways in your everyday existence. The study will begin on February 1 on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in D212/213. The class is for ladies of all ages and sign-up is at The Hub or online HERE.

MEN’S BREAKFAST – All men are invited to gather together Sunday, February 5 at 7 am in the WBC dining room for our monthly Men’s Breakfast. Invite a friend to come and fellowship. Eric Welford will be the guest speaker.
FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS – Everyone 55+ is invited to our monthly fellowship luncheon on Tuesday, February 7 at 10:30 am in the dining room. Invite a friend to come and worship with us!
2023 BIBLE READING PLANS – Let’s read the Bible together! The two-year M’Cheyne Bible Calendar/Reading Plan that Pastor Brannon has chosen for us is available in the sanctuary foyers and at The Hub. You may purchase the accompanying devotion book, For the Love of God (Volume 1) by D.A. Carson, at www.christianbook.com and there is a limited number available at The Hub for $17. We look forward to diving into the Word as a church family this year!
CELEBRATE RECOVERY – Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program for ANY type of hurt, habit, or hang-up. If you or someone you love needs support in these areas, Celebrate Recovery meets at Temple Baptist Church Sundays from 5-7 pm. For more information, call Temple Baptist at 228-588-6245. RIGHT NOW MEDIA  – Wade Baptist cares about your discipleship journey! We have avenues to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord including Sunday school and Community Groups. Another great resource that we offer is RightNow Media (RNM). RNM is the largest streaming library of video Bible studies covering a wide variety of topics – and it has something for all ages. They can be used as part of a group study or for personal devotions, and many series include free discussion guides and handouts. To access RNM for FREE, visit wadebaptist.com/rightnowmedia. Check out the staff picks or search for one that interests you.
VISITATION – WBC’s Congregational Care ministry (visitation outreach) is always in need of members willing to go out into the community to visit other members, including our homebound members. They reach out to those who have visited our church, and they spread God’s Word into the community. If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, please call the church office at 228-588-3356.
THE LOTT FAMILY – Thank you all for your concern and prayers for Pastor Brannon and his family as they prepare for his stem cell transplant in December. Many of you have asked how you could minister to them during this time. Above all, please continue to pray for Brannon, Ally, Eli, Jase, and Emma!

If you feel led, you may also donate to the “Brannon Lott Benefit Account” at Singing River Federal Credit Union to help with the expenses of this process. Donations can be made to this account at any branch of the credit union. This account is open for anyone to give, so feel free to spread the word to others in our community if they wish to donate. We are well aware that Brannon and Ally’s ministry and lives reach well beyond the walls of Wade Baptist Church.

As an additional option, donations can also be turned in at the church and we will deposit you. Checks must be made out to Brannon or Ally Lott. Cash must be in an envelope and marked for the Lott family, as well. These donations will be given directly to the benefit account and will not be reflected on your contribution statements you receive from the church.

Thank you & God bless!
