A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place to find hope and healing after the death of a loved one. At the 13-week group, you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind. Wade Baptist will host a GriefShare group, led by Deanna Collins, beginning August 4 from 6-8 pm. If you or someone you know would benefit from this group, register HERE.

We invite you to gather with us for a time of food and fellowship on Wednesday evening, November 5,
5 – 6:15 pm in the WBC gym, followed by our regular midweek ministries for all ages. Adults will be $7 per plate & children (through 6th grade) will be $3 per plate. If your family’s meal cost will exceed $20, please only select the Family Meal option and proceed to the questions about meal details. Register HERE and pay online OR use the envelopes at The Hub to pay by check or exact cash (place in the drop box outside of the church secretary’s door). Payment and registration must be completed by Sunday, November 2.
Our November 5 Midweek Meal will feature a Mexican dinner:
Tortilla chips with homemade salsa
Chicken tortilla soup
Adult entree – 2-3 Beef tacos with all fixings (self-serve toppings bar with lettuce, tomato, onion, cilantro and sour cream)
Child entrée – Cheese quesadilla
Sides – Mexican yellow rice, pinto seasoned beans and Mexican coleslaw
Desserts – an assortment with rice pudding and tres leches cake
To honor our veterans, we will have a slideshow presentation on Sunday, November 9, at both morning gatherings. If you would like to be included, please email a copy of the photo(s) to media@wadebaptist.com along with the veteran’s name, the branch of service, and years of service. You may also bring photos to the church office 8 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday, to be scanned. If your information was in the slideshow last year, you will only need to tell us in the email that you want to be included again this year. The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 31.

We will have a special called business meeting on Wednesday, November 12, to vote on the Master Plan and the 2026 budget. Proposed budgets will be available by next Sunday, November 2. On Wednesday, November 5, at the adult gathering Pastor Randy will share more details about the Master Plan. We encourage all members to attend these important meetings.
If you’re 55+, please join us on Thursday, November 13, at 5:00 pm, in the WBC gym for the Senior Adult Thanksgiving Dinner, followed with music by our own, JAM (Jesus and Music) group. Register HERE or call the church office by Wednesday, November 5. We are asking for each person to please bring a bulk-size paper product (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee cups, plates, & eating utensils), coffee, sugar, creamer, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent or bulk size non-perishable food item (example gallon size vegetables) to go to Mrs. Carol’s Sunday school class Mission of Hope Christmas mission. If you know of a Wade member who is a shut-in and would possibly like a meal delivered to them, please call Carol Ard at 228-218-6077. There will be a basket for cash donations to help offset the cost of the meal.

If you would like to purchase a poinsettia in memory or honor of someone special, please complete a poinsettia order form envelope, enclose payment & place the envelope in the drop box located outside the secretary’s office or in the offering box in the sanctuary foyer. Envelopes are located in the front sanctuary foyer and at The Hub. Poinsettias are $11.00 each & available in red or white (limited quantities available). The deadline to purchase is November 16.
WBC is helping to provide desserts on Thanksgiving Day at Baptist Friendship House in New Orleans. We are asking WBC members to sign up to provide cakes and/or pies. Register HERE or call the church office to let us know what you will be able to provide. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, November 19. All desserts must be delivered to the church by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25.
Be a blessing by volunteering for a day trip to BFH on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, (approximately 6 am – 5 pm). Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Space is limited. Register HERE by Wednesday, November 19.
Adults ages 55 and up are invited to register for a trip to Houston, TX, December 11 – 13, to see the “Christmas Spectacular”! You will be taking a side trip in Lafeyette, LA to tour the Tabasco plant and in the evening everyone will explore the lights & festivities of LARC Acadian Christmas Village! See the information packet (available at The Hub) for cost (Trip cost includes transportation, room and event tickets. It does NOT include meals, tips, extras). $100 nonrefundable deposit due when registering online by May 1. Deadline to pay balance is August 1. NO refunds.

Wade Baptist Church is thrilled to introduce our new Student Pastor, Patrick Noblitt! We welcome Patrick and his sweet family and can’t wait to see what God will do through him to make much of Jesus in our church, schools, and community. Students, Patrick will be with us starting Wednesday night, October 29, at 6:30 pm. Come a little early to hang out, and invite your friends!
All boys ages 5 and up, bring a friend and join us in the WBC gym for our Trail Life meetings Sundays at 3:00 pm.
Wade Baptist Church is excited to announce an upcoming mission trip to Osaka, Japan on March 31 – April 9, 2026. This will be a wonderful opportunity to serve, share God’s love, and grow together in faith. We will take a 6-8 member team. Details and planning meetings will begin soon.
