A note about our speaker….
State Missionary Terry Long has been employed by the Alabama State Board of Missions since January 2018 and is a part-time associate in Evangelism. He assists associations and churches in implementing various evangelism-related strategies and in the training of believers to engage people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the past he has pastored at multiple churches in the Pascagoula & Moss Point area.

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place to find hope and healing after the death of a loved one. At the 13-week group, you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind. Wade Baptist will host a GriefShare group, led by Deanna Collins, beginning August 4 from 6-8 pm. If you or someone you know would benefit from this group, register HERE.
The JCBA will be having their fall WMU meeting Thursday, September 18, at 6:00 pm at First Baptist Church Gautier (325 De La Pointe Dr., Gautier). All ladies are invited and encouraged to attend.

Wade Students are invited to See You at the Pole on Wednesday, September 24, beginning at 7:30 am at the EC Middle School flagpole or the EC High School flagpole. This will be a special time of prayer for our schools, community, and nation.
Wade Students are invited to Saw You at the Pole on Wednesday, September 24, 6 – 8 pm at Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church (7300 Campground Rd, Moss Point). We encourage you to MEET AT MAGNOLIA SPRINGS for a time of free food, games, worship, and encouragement following the national See You at the Pole day of prayer. Parents may pick up students after worship at approximately 8 pm at Magnolia Springs. There will be no Wade Students activities/gatherings on September 24.
Preteens (grades 5 & 6) are invited to go to Spanish Trail Lanes (2909 Old Spanish Trail, Gautier) on Saturday, September 27. We will leave WBC at 1 pm and return at 4:30 pm. Cost is $12 per person. Register HERE by September 25. WBC forms not required.

We invite you to gather with us for a time of food and fellowship on Wednesday evening, October 1, 5 – 6:15 pm in the WBC gym, followed by our regular midweek ministries for all ages. Every year Jackson County Baptist Association has a booth to offer free coffee, water, Bibles & tracts to anyone passing through the Civic Center at the Jackson County Fair. One hour time slots are available Monday, October 20, through Saturday, October 25.

FALL FESTIVAL – WE NEED YOUR HELP!
To make our Fall Festival (October 26) a success, we need your help! Click HERE to sign up online for one or more of the items below:
1. Decorate a trunk (provide your own candy). We need a minimum of 25 trunks. While we encourage creativity, we also value safety, good judgment, and kid-friendly themes.
2. Donate extra candy.
3. Volunteer to help at the Fall Festival.
4. Bring cupcakes (1 dozen) and/or cake for the cake walk.
This is a HUGE community outreach for WBC! It is a time to fellowship with our friends and neighbors and to Make Much of Jesus! We need YOU!
Adults ages 55 and up are invited to register for a trip to Houston, TX, December 11 – 13, to see the “Christmas Spectacular”! You will be taking a side trip in Lafeyette, LA to tour the Tabasco plant and in the evening everyone will explore the lights & festivities of LARC Acadian Christmas Village! See the information packet (available at The Hub) for cost (Trip cost includes transportation, room and event tickets. It does NOT include meals, tips, extras). $100 nonrefundable deposit due when registering online by May 1. Deadline to pay balance is August 1. NO refunds.
The Margaret Lackey State Missions Offering is the primary means by which Mississippi Baptists fund mission work within our state. Through this offering, ministries such as disaster relief, church planting, community missions, prison outreach, literacy programs, and other vital efforts are made possible. We encourage you to prayerfully consider giving, knowing that your support helps extend the love of Christ and the reach of the Gospel across Mississippi. Special envelopes are available at the Connect Desk and at The Hub through the end of September. Our WBC 2025 goal is $2000.

Wade Baptist Church is excited to announce an upcoming mission trip to Osaka, Japan on March 31 – April 9, 2026. This will be a wonderful opportunity to serve, share God’s love, and grow together in faith. We will take a 6-8 member team. Details and planning meetings will begin soon.
