Please pick up a list of eligible men to serve as deacon from the Connect Desk or at The Hub. Church members are asked to prayerfully consider who they will select for nominations on August 11. On August 25, members will receive a list of the top candidates from the nominations. The final vote is planned for September 8. Members must be present to vote.
Getting ready to go back to school is always hectic for parents and kids, so we would like to take away some of the stress by providing dinner for our WBC families! On Wednesday, July 24, 5 – 6:30 pm in the WBC north parking lot, WBC will be doing a drive through Cane’s meal pickup (first come, first serve – while supplies last). All you will have to do is load up your kids and drive through to pick up your meal. We would love to pray for your family while you are here. If you do not have children in school but would like to help with this ministry opportunity by passing out meals and/or praying with families, please call the church. There will be NO nursery, kids or student activities/gatherings on July 24.
The Constitution, Bylaw & Policy Committee, with support from the deacon body, is proposing an amendment to the WBC bylaws regarding deacon eligibility. The amendment proposal is available at the Wade campus Connect Desk and at The Hub. Members will vote on the amendment at the rescheduled July 24 quarterly business meeting.

Grades K-5 – Go to the Wade Kids hall where greeters and teachers will be available to help children find their new classrooms.
Grades 6-12 – Go directly to the gym where student ministry leaders will welcome and connect students with their teachers.

It’s time for our 9th annual Ice Cream Social! We will be adding some fun games for this evening so bring your Bible and join us in the WBC gym on Wednesday, July 31, at 6:30 pm. We will have games for ALL ages, fellowship, and delicious homemade ice cream! Sign up at The Hub or in your Sunday school classroom to bring your favorite recipe to share with your church family. Wade Baptist Church and The Bridge are invited to attend the Biloxi Shuckers: Faith & Family Night (105 Caillavet St., Biloxi 39530) on Sunday, August 4 (gates open at 4 pm/first pitch at 5:05 pm). Bring your family, friends and neighbors out for this fun night of fellowship. $10 per person and you must register/pay online by July 31. Our quarterly Next Steps class is for new members, those considering becoming a member, or anyone interested in learning more about Wade Baptist Church. Our next class is Sunday, August 11, from 12 – 2 pm in the dining room. A light lunch will be served and nursery is available (birth – 3 y.o). Other children are welcome to join us in the class. A GriefShare recovery group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of losing a loved one. Over 13 weeks, you’ll find relief and comfort as you learn what to expect in the days ahead and how to navigate your personal grief process.
