If you’re 55+, please join us on Thursday, November 13, at 5:00 pm, in the WBC gym for the Senior Adult Thanksgiving Dinner, followed with music by our own, JAM (Jesus and Music) group. We are asking for each person to please bring a bulk-size paper product (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee cups, plates, & eating utensils), coffee, sugar, creamer, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent or bulk size non-perishable food item (example gallon size vegetables) to go to Mrs. Carol’s Sunday school class Mission of Hope Christmas mission. If you know of a Wade member who is a shut-in and would possibly like a meal delivered to them, please call Carol Ard at 228-218-6077. There will be a basket for cash donations to help offset the cost of the meal.
It’s time for Operation Christmas Child, and we need your help! You may pick up shoeboxes from the sanctuary or The Hub. Please return your filled boxes to WBC by Sunday, November 16. After November 16, WBC cannot accept boxes. You will have to take your shoeboxes to one of the area collection sites. You can click HERE to order a shoebox directly from OCC and they will build the box for you.

If you would like to purchase a poinsettia in memory or honor of someone special, please complete a poinsettia order form envelope, enclose payment & place the envelope in the drop box located outside the secretary’s office or in the offering box in the sanctuary foyer. Envelopes are located in the front sanctuary foyer and at The Hub. Poinsettias are $11.00 each & available in red or white (limited quantities available). The deadline to purchase is November 16.
We would like to invite everyone to our Neighbors and Nations Weekend, which will be held on November 22 – 23. During this special weekend, we will be hosting the Fleming family, IMB missionaries serving in Osaka, Japan. On Saturday, November 22, 2 – 4 pm, in the sanctuary, the Flemings will share about their ministry, Saturate Osaka, as well as other gospel opportunities throughout Japan. Following the time of sharing, we will host a fellowship with the Flemings in the gym to provide an opportunity to ask questions, visit and encourage them personally (childcare not provided). On Sunday, November 23, the Fleming daughters will share with our students during the Sunday school hour at 8:45 am, followed by Trey Fleming preaching the 10 am gathering (only nursery provided).
WBC is helping to provide desserts on Thanksgiving Day at Baptist Friendship House in New Orleans. We are asking WBC members to sign up to provide cakes and/or pies. Register HERE or call the church office to let us know what you will be able to provide. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, November 19. All desserts must be delivered to the church by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25.
Be a blessing by volunteering for a day trip to BFH on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, (approximately 6 am – 5 pm). Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Space is limited. Register HERE by Wednesday, November 19.
There are almost 100 students in our own community who rely on donated food through Backpack Buddies to eat on the weekends and during the holidays. For their Christmas stockings, they are asking for bar soap and bath poufs. Donations can be placed in our collection bin at the Hub by Sunday, November 30.

We invite you to gather with us for a time of food and fellowship on Wednesday evening, December 3, 5 – 6:15 pm in the WBC gym, followed by our regular midweek ministries for all ages. Adults will be $7 per plate & children (through 6th grade) will be $3 per plate. If your family’s meal cost will exceed $20, please only select the Family Meal option and proceed to the questions about meal details. You will be taking a side trip in Lafeyette, LA to tour the Tabasco plant and in the evening everyone will explore the lights & festivities of LARC Acadian Christmas Village! It does NOT include meals, tips, extras). $100 nonrefundable deposit due when registering online by May 1. Deadline to pay balance is August 1. NO refunds.

Wade Kids (completed grades 1 – 6) are invited to attend M4 Kids Camp at Waukaway Springs in Vossburg, MS, July 6 – 8, 2026. Cost is $224 for kids. Register HERE ($100 non-refundable deposit due when registering). Deadline to register/pay is March 30, 2026 (non-refundable). Space is limited. WBC and Waukaway forms required. All adults must complete Authorization for Background Check and Ministry Safe training.
Wade Baptist Church is thrilled to introduce our new Student Pastor, Patrick Noblitt! We welcome Patrick and his sweet family and can’t wait to see what God will do through him to make much of Jesus in our church, schools, and community.
