R.E.A.L. WOMEN’S MINISTRY – The women’s ministry at WBC is based on the scripture in Titus 2 and provides an opportunity for women to come together for R.E.A.L. fellowship through building Relationships, being an Encourager, developing Accountability and sharing Laughter while growing in their relationship with Christ. No events are scheduled at this time.
SHOWERING OTHERS WITH LOVE – One of the ways we minister to others is through bridal and baby showers. What a joy to love on a young couple and help them get started on their exciting journeys!
KITCHEN HELPERS – Many of the events at WBC include a meal or snacks and this is only possible thanks to a group of men and women who volunteer their time to prepare, serve and clean up for these events. PRISON MINISTRY – The prison ministry at WBC communicates by mail with inmates from all over the country who have expressed an interest in learning the Bible and the Christian life. SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS & HELPERS – At Wade Baptist, we have classes for everyone – from nursery to senior adults! Classes meet each Sunday at 9:30 am. All of our children (nursery – 5th grade) have classes by grade or age on our Wade Kids hall. Our students (6th – 12th grade) have classes by grade in rooms throughout the church. Our adults have classes for college/young adult, adult, and senior adult. We have classes for women, men, and for couples. Any of our pastors or ushers will be happy to help you find a class that fits your needs. Join us for Sunday school today! WBC would like to thank all who faithfully plan and deliver lessons for our adults, youth and children every week.
BEREAVEMENT TEAM – WBC has a small group of women and men who help to support and comfort families during their time of loss by preparing food for the family. If interested in serving with this ministry, please call the church office. WBC would like to thank these men and women for their dedication and willingness to serve when called upon.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE TEAM – WBC’s Congregational Care Team is always in need of members willing to go out into the community to visit other members, to visit with those who have visited our church, and to spread God’s word into the community. MOMENTUM – Wednesdays at 8:00 am, a group of WBC men meet in the MMR for a time of fellowship, devotion & prayer. Any male 18 years of age or older is invited to attend. “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.“ Galatians 2:20
HOME OF GRACE FOR WOMEN – LIMITED VISITORS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE – This ministry provides Christian love to women (16 – 70 years of age) who are dealing with drug and alcohol issues. Many of these women have never heard the word of God before and this ministry helps to teach them how to live in the way God wants us to. WBC travels to The Home of Grace for Women 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. PRAYER QUILT MINISTRY – Join our Prayer Quilt Ministry on the 2nd & 4th MONDAY of every month 9:00 – 11:00 am (in building C-formerly Children’s building) for a time of fellowship & discipleship as they make prayer quilts for those in need of special prayer.
