Salvation

We exist to make much of Jesus by being and making disciples who take the Gospel to our neighbors and the nations for the glory of God. We do this by making sure people have a life-changing relationship with Christ. Do you have a relationship with Him? Or, have you ever received Christ as your Personal Savior?

Receiving Christ

To receive Christ means we must follow the ABC’s of Salvation:

To receive Christ means you must Admit that you’re a sinner. A sinner is one that is separated from God and one that falls short of His mark. (Romans 3:23) All of us are sinners. We all have refused to let God have total control of our lives. Sin is an obstacle that separates us and God. You can’t remove this obstacle on your own. (Acts 3:19, Romans 3:23)

To receive Christ means you must Believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, to forgive you of your sin. Christ died on the cross to pay your sin debt. (Romans 6:23) When you receive His gift of forgiveness, the obstacle that separates you from God will be removed once and for all.

To receive Christ means you must Confess your faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-10, 13; 1 John 1:9) This means you turn to Christ and receive Him as your Personal Savior. At that moment, you give Him total control of your life. To pray and receive Christ is as simple as praying the following prayer while believing in your heart that He will save you.

“Dear God, I know that you love me and desire a personal relationship with me. So I come today admitting that I am a sinner. I believe in you and now ask you to forgive me of my sin and be Lord of my life. Thank you for loving me and saving me today.”
